Asperger's is NOT a disability but a different way of functioning, thinking. Here at Time 2 Train we ensure nothing but a positive mind frame and attitude, using the traits of Asperger's we ensure we understand and achieve better control through healthy support , management and education.


Time 2 Train is a nationally, internationally recognised program for Autism, Health & Fitness, Wellbeing. Helping to achieve better understanding and improvement of the overall functioning level for individuals living with Autism + Asperger's

EXERCISE TRAINING PROGRAMS

Suitable for all ages on the Autism Spectrum

Using exercise, movement activities and play to analyse and train all ages on the Autism Spectrum in the Time 2 Train Program, we provide feedback to parents through observation, physical performance and behavioural assessments.

Insight into you or your child’s fluency and balance in movement, co-ordination, concentration, confidence and cognitive capacity will empower you or your child to achieve better functionality in a more positive, proactive way.

8 WEEK BASIC TRAINING PROGRAM

Suitable for all ages

Time 2 Train 8 Week Program aims to build a basic understanding of skills towards balance, co-ordination, confidence and overall improvement in social and cognitive functioning.

12 WEEK ADVANCED TRAINING PROGRAM

Suitable for all ages

Time 2 Train 12 Week Program is highly recommended in building basic to advanced large to fine motor movements, develop further confidence, self awareness, emotional management and improvement in overall functioning.

TIME 2 TRAIN LUPE PROGRAM

11yrs of age +

A personal development mentor program aimed to build necessary life essential skills, executive functioning and overall independence for young adolescents to adults with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome. The Learn Understand Practice Experience program helps individuals successfully adapt, transition into the wider community.

EXERCISE & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IS THE BEST!

The physical exercises in Time 2 Train are those that inhibit the Primitive Reflexes; that strengthen the Postural Reflexes; and those that encourage growth of nerve pathways within the higher centres of the brain increasing integration of the different senses and the different specialisations of the brain.

Training with these exercises in the program takes anything from 3 - 9 months to 2 years depending on the cause and quality of adherence to the program.

WHAT IS MUSCLE MEMORY?

Muscle memory has been used synonymously with motor learning, which is a form of procedural memory that involves consolidating a specific motor task into memory through repetition.

When a movement is repeated over time, a long-term muscle memory is created for that task, eventually allowing it to be performed without conscious effort. This process decreases the need for attention and creates maximum efficiency within the motor and memory systems.

WHAT DO THE EXPERTS THINK ABOUT TIME 2 TRAIN?

From my clinical experience, I have found that physical exercise is far more effective in alleviating anxiety and depression in people with Asperger's syndrome than medication or psychological therapies. Unfortunately, those with Asperger's syndrome tend to think of themselves as clumsy, not suitable for team sports and preferring intellectual sedentary pursuits.

I would very much like to encourage your program as I think this will have great benefit, not only in terms of emotion management and fitness but also in clarity of thoughts and concentration.
